APEGGA Seeks Input
On M.I.T., P.Geo. Concepts
At its Dec. 6 meeting, Council supported seeking input
from Members and possibly holding Member votes on two possible changes requiring
amendments to the Engineering, Geological and Geophysical Professions Act. One
would give full APEGGA membership privileges – the right to hold office and the right to vote – to
Members-in-Training. The other would create the single designation Professional
Geoscientist, or P.Geo.
APEGGA has prepared discussion papers on these matters so Members can learn
more about them and provide feedback. We encourage you to click through to these
papers and take part in the consultation process.
Links for your response appear at the end of each discussion paper.
We require your response by no later than Feb. 4.

of it as an online hardware store of sorts – although shipping
is a bit spotty. APEGGA keeps a regularly updated list of awards you, your projects
or someone you know might qualify for. The list links directly to the appropriate
