Mr. Laurie Danielson, Executive Director,
Northeast Capital Industrial Association (NCIA)
Mr. Danielson will provide an overview of NCIA, its key focus areas, and projects that NCIA is currently working on. NCIA is a not-for-profit cooperative representing industry located in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland which includes the municipalities of Strathcona County, Sturgeon County, the City of Fort Saskatchewan and Lamont County.
Member companies range from large integrated global chemical and petro-chemical industries to industrial service companies. Current industrial investment in manufacturing plants and infrastructure in the region already exceeds $25 billion and an additional $20 to $40 billion in investment is expected in the next 10-15 years.
12:30 pm - APEGGA President Mr. Jim Beckett P. Eng.
Mr. Beckett will provide an update on issues of interest specifically to members as well as some broader issues related to public safety and environment. Please join your President and fellow members for an exchange of ideas and information.

After crossing the bridge coming into the Fort from the Manning Freeway continue on to the intersection of Hwy. 21 & 15

Travel down Highway 21 until you see the large DOW Centennial Centre on your left-hand side.
From Highway 21
As you come into Fort Saskatchewan you will see the DOW Centennial Centre on your right hand side.
