Nominations are requested from members of the Fort McMurray Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) interested in serving on the local Branch Executive in the following positions:

Chair
Vice-Chair
Treasurer
Secretary
Outreach Coordinator
Members-at-Large (limited to 10 members)

The duties of the various positions are defined in the Branch Bylaws, which may be obtained from APEGGA’s website www.apega.ca. Any member nominated for the position of Chair must have served on the Branch Executive for at least one year.

Please ensure that the individual being nominated has accepted to serve in the position.

In the event of an election for any position, other than Members-at-Large, the candidates would be required to make a 2-3 minute presentation at the Branch AGM to inform the members of their candidacy.This should include the candidate’s past experience and APEGGA activities.

Please forward the nominations to one of the following members of the nominating committee by no later than March 20th, 2010. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the branch AGM.
