A Message for Virginia Tech
It is with sadness and shock that the members of APEGGA received the news of
the April 16 tragedy at Virginia Tech. Our thoughts go out to the family and
friends of those who lost loved ones and we extend best wishes for a speedy recovery
to those who received injuries.
Virginia Tech is an ABET-accredited institution with a long and proud engineering and geoscience tradition. While acts such as this diminish all of us in the engineering and geoscience professions, we know that the faculty and students at Virginia Tech are strong and, after grieving, will be able to move forward despite this tragedy.
