√ ASAP Program Advantages
Being enrolled in the APEGGA Student Advantage Program, or ASAP, has more advantages
than providing second-, third- and fourth-year undergraduate engineering and
geoscience students with a membership number.
ASAP members receive a subscription to The PEGG and are kept informed of their Association’s events. This includes branch luncheons, upcoming meetings and student mixers. ASAP members are also eligible to use APEGGA’s Resumé Referral service, which could help them locate that all-important summer job or, upon graduation, career starter.
ASAP members also qualify to use any of the benefits that members enjoy. These include a fuel discount, insurance discounts and travel savings.

The annual Salary Survey lets employers of professional engineers and geoscientists share their compensation methods and deliverance. This helps keep the industries on an even playing field for those who work within them. APEGGA does not reveal the names of participants.
The end result is the Value of the Professions document, published in the fall.
If you haven’t received your package yet and want to participate, you can download the manual and survey forms from the APEGGA website. Deadline to submit is June 30.
