One Act, Two Associations Amendments Pass

The appropriate EGGP Act amendments have passed third reading in the Alberta Legislature and received Royal Assent С APEGGA and ASET can now embark on a new era of technologist regulation. Employment, Immigration and Industry Minister Iris Evans, the minister responsible for the act, congratulated the two organizations at a reception at Government House in Edmonton, last month. She acknowledged the hard work of the discussion team to arrive at the One Act, Two Associations memorandum of understanding, as well as efforts of government, ASET and APEGGA staff.
