OBITUARIES
Joneson Chiang, P.Eng.


An enthusiastic volunteer with APEGGA's Fort McMurray Branch, Joneson (Jonesy) Chiang, P.Eng., passed away recently after a car accident. He was just 34.

Born in Taiwan, Mr. Chiang was a graduate of the University of Alberta, where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. In 2003 and 2004, he worked as a co-op student with Syncrude, and he was hired as a full-time employee with the company in 2005, working in the facilities technical projects division.

Mr. Chiang is survived by his wife, Carol, and many family members and friends. A funeral was held in St. Albert on Oct. 3.
